The cost depends on the type of testing you need. We cater and structure ourselves around you and your needs. Get in touch with us, and we’ll work together to come up with your perfect proposal. Small or big, we’re a la carte, so you can pick what you want and leave the rest!
We separate out our tests by network and web application. There may be a little overlap, but if you want the server the application is housed on tested, please purchase a network test for that one device.
We can help you with that! PCI compliance requires some additional testing for internal networks called segmentation checks, but we include that in the price for that test. It also requires some additional reporting requirements, which we are highly experienced at.
It’s not better, just a little different. All of our tests are comprehensive and will work for most compliance requirements. The only one that’s different is PCI compliance, and that’s more about reporting than testing.
We’ll need to know if you want network or web application testing. From there, we’ll need to know how many IPs and if they are internal or external, or more information about the application. We’ll send you the scope document with all the questions so you can gather the information and send it to us.
Testing Process
While some of that depends on the type of test and how large the scope is, most often, the tests take about half a day to three or four days.
Unless you have an immediate need (rush fees may apply), we can usually start the testing about two weeks after the signed proposal.
Yes, we provide the report through our secure email system which will include an executive summary (perfect for C-suite and clients with less technical information) and the technical overview. The technical portion includes the vulnerabilities discovered, screen captures as proof of concept, remediation recommendations, and risk ratings.
Unless you need the report emergently (rush fees may apply), we provide the final report, in PDF form, 7 to 10 business days after completion of the test.
