Occasionally, we run into a go getter who is looking into performing an automated penetration test themselves (usually for smaller jobs). We want to exaggerate that although you may be saving a few pennies, your businesses security isn’t the place to be penny pinching. An automated test can only do so much. It won’t find some vulnerabilities, such as default credentials on your firewall.
